Zazie Olivia Beetz was born Berlin in 1991. Her father is a German cabinet maker who emigrated to America in the year 1990. United States in 1990 after the collapse of the Berlin Wall, and her mother is a South African American social worker in New York. Jennifer Aniston is also a former student of the same high school. Beetz was a graduate of LaGuardia in 2007, was a student at Skidmore College and studied French. She began auditioning immediately after having graduated from college. After a few auditions in Atlanta, she landed the role of Van. Beetz was born in Berlin and was raised by the father of a German American as well as an African American mother who lived in New York, spoke both German as well as English at home. Zazie has performed in local theaters since the age of a kid. Her passion for acting was evident and she started acting at the age of elementary school. Zendaya's Disney Channel Breakout role Zendaya's dance skills have paid off. In 2010, the actor and dancer got her first break-out performance when she was cast as Rocky Blue in the show 'Shake It Up', with her co-star Bella Thorne. Zendaya went vegetarian at age 11 when she came across a slaughterhouse during a road trip along with her father. PEOPLE quoted her saying: "It seemed awful to me to see all the animals crammed into the slaughterhouse and waiting for their death. I was shocked to discover that's where I'd been getting my meat!" In the past, her daughter has stuck on a plant-based, vegan diet.
